Overseas Vietnamese Camp
Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our era, requiring global collaboration and local action. Overseas Vietnamese (Việt Kiều) teenagers are uniquely positioned to bridge international perspectives and local solutions. To harness their potential, Education for Good proposes a 7–10 days long summer camp in Vietnam to empower teenagers (ages 15–17). This camp will not only deepen their connection to Vietnam but also equip them to become changemakers in their communities worldwide.
Stanford e-Vietnam
This collaboration between SPICE and Education for Good ensures accessibility by providing scholarships for talented students from underserved backgrounds, ensuring that no deserving student is left behind. Education for Good will lead student recruitment and fundraising efforts, ensuring a diverse cohort of learners from across Vietnam. By adapting the proven models of e-Japan and e-China to Vietnam’s unique context, e-Vietnam aspires to empower the next generation of Vietnamese leaders to make a meaningful impact, both locally and globally.
EmpowerHer Initiative
The EmpowerHer Initiative 2025 equips young women from disadvantaged backgrounds with the skills and confidence to become leaders. Through mentorship, workshops, and collaborative projects, participants address gender equity and social issues. A defining feature of this program is mentorship matchmaking, connecting participants with accomplished women leaders. This program empowers young women to transform their potential into impactful change for their communities.
Fostering Loving Families
The Fostering Loving Families short course, aligned with UWC values, empowers families to become "learning communities" through interactive modules on parent-child relationships, sibling dynamics, and intergenerational wisdom-sharing. By fostering trust, empathy, and communication, this program equips families with the tools to build stronger bonds and cultivate peace within their homes.
Where Are You From?
This short course empowers international school students, third-culture kids, and global citizens to navigate the complex question: "Where are you from?" Through reflective workshops, storytelling, and creative activities, participants explore themes of home, belonging, and cultural heritage. Fostering self-discovery and building confidence, the course equips students with the tools to embrace their unique identities and cultivate empathy across cultures. This aligns with UWC's mission of education for peace and a sustainable future.
Echoes for Good
This Performing Arts Camp brings together artists globally to collaborate on an original production, culminating in a public showcase. Initially focused on theater, it will expand to include music and dance, featuring collaborations with renowned institutions. Rooted in UWC's principles, this initiative empowers participants to become cultural changemakers through the power of art.
Practicing Friendship Vulnerability
This program addresses a crucial gap in traditional education by focusing on essential life skills, specifically "How to Make Friends." Through interactive workshops and guided exercises, participants learn to embrace vulnerability, build emotional resilience, and develop the skills needed to form authentic connections. By fostering a supportive environment, this program equips individuals with the tools to navigate social situations, build meaningful friendships, and cultivate a deeper sense of empathy and connection within their communities.
